William Perrin - click here to send an email (link now fixed)
William set up this site in Summer 2006 as a way of keeping track of all the community things he could see going on. William first moved to Kings Cross in 1994 (Wharfdale Road) and returned in 2001 (Cally Road). Until late 2008 he lived near Bingfield Park in the North part of Kings Cross, where he wages war on squirrels that attack his bird feeders. William has a particular interest in street, noise and greenspace/park issues and is always happy to help anyone out with a local problem. William moved down the road a little to nearby Holborn in December 2008 but still owns properties in Kings Cross and retains a strong interest in the area. William would love to get York Road tube re-opened. He also runs the Facebook Group 'I Love Kings Cross' and the experimental KingCrossTV. William is a civil servant in his day job - all writing here is done in a personal capacity as an active local citizen.
Stephan Schulte - click here to send an email
Stephan lives at York Central on York Way, just next to the car wash just North of Wharfdale Road. Let him know about issues in your immediate area that you think your neighbours would be interested in. If appropriate the Bulletin Board will try to do a story on your subject. Good news is also of interest - especially things of interest locally and about local people.
Sophie Talbot - click here to send an email
Sophie moved into King’s Cross in 1989 from Leeds; KX has been her home ever since. She constantly pines for Yorkshire so the railway station is an essential touch stone for her! Once a community development, diversity/equalities & urban regeneration practitioner, she is now an actor whose interests range from Shakespeare to new writing. She supports the work of Kids Company locally; is keen on encouraging urban wildlife and making best use of the King’s Cross green corridor; relishes local history; and would like to see the area develop in response to sustainable community rather than solely economic interests.
